Textures

After seeing all of Ben’s beautiful drawings and waiting on the side of the road while Ben takes pictures of memorials, I decided I needed an art project of my own.
I have always been fascinated by textures, whether it’s something that pleases my taste buds or something that pleases my eyes. It only feels natural to focus on this as a sort of nationwide project; capturing the textures of America.
I first thought of the idea in the Sonoran desert but have luckily already been taking some textural photos throughout the trip. It was obviously meant to be. Sorry that they’re a little out of order.
